Hot Dip Galvalume Steel Coil (Aluzinc Steel)

The Ultimate Structural Material for Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF)

Our Hot Dip Galvalume Steel Coil (also known as Aluzinc) is manufactured with a premium coating composition of 55% Aluminum, 43.4% Zinc, and 1.6% Silicon. This unique alloy combines the barrier protection of aluminum with the sacrificial protection of zinc, offering a service life 3-6 times longer than standard galvanized steel. It is the material of choice for Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF) due to its superior strength and heat reflectivity.

Key Features

We provide a high-precision solution designed to meet the strict tolerances of modern roll-forming machinery:

  • Optimized for LGSF: Specifically engineered for Light Gauge Steel Frame works, our coils typically feature High Tensile Strength (G550). This ensures structural integrity for load-bearing applications in residential and commercial construction.

  • Customized Aluzinc Protection: The Alu-Zinc coating thickness is adjustable as requested (e.g., AZ150 is standard for structural framing). The dense aluminum-rich skin provides excellent resistance against atmospheric corrosion, even in humid environments.

  • Exact Dimensions & Cutting: We offer thickness and width as requested to fit your specific keel or purlin machines. Furthermore, any length can be cut (for sheet orders) or slit into narrow strips to minimise production waste.

  •  Accurate Size & Perfect Surface: Our production line ensures flat, smooth surfaces and precise edge finishing. The accurate size prevents jamming in high-speed framing machines, ensuring a smooth manufacturing workflow.

  • Fine Export Packaging: To protect the sensitive Aluzinc surface from “black rust” and moisture during transit, we use fine packaging suitable for export. This includes moisture-proof styling, sturdy steel outer shells, and secure strapping for safe sea freight.

Applications

Hot Dip Galvalume Steel Coil

Steel Keels & Studs

The material is roll-formed into C-shaped and U-shaped studs/tracks to create the skeleton of light steel villas and partition walls.

Hot Dip Galvalume Steel Coil

Truss Systems

Used for roof trusses in residential buildings due to its high strength-to-weight ratio (G550 Grade).

Hot Dip Galvalume Steel Coil

Durability

The AZ150 coating ensures the frame remains rust-free for decades without the need for painting, even when enclosed within walls.

Hot Dip Galvalume Steel Coil

Heat Reflective Roofing

It reflects sunlight more effectively than galvanized steel, keeping building interiors cooler and reducing energy costs for air conditioning.

Hot Dip Galvalume Steel Coil

Corrosion Resistance

Ideal for acid rain environments or coastal areas where standard galvanizing might degrade too quickly.

Hot Dip Galvalume Steel Coil

Electrical Cabinets

The conductivity and corrosion resistance make it suitable for computer cases and electrical switchboards.

Hot Dip Galvalume Steel Coil

Heat Shields

Due to its ability to withstand high temperatures (up to 315°C) without discoloration, it is often used in oven interiors and automotive heat shields.
